Listry U-8s 24-5-2013
Listry U-8 boys and girls have been taking part in the East-Kerry ‘Go-
Games’ blitz in Fossa for the last two Wednesdays,The blitz started
on
Wed.15th and continued on Wed.22nd and our final night is on Wed.29th
May.
Our young stars are playing great football and showed a huge
improvement in the second week.Defending bravely,attacking every ball
and kicking some great scores.I know all the kids are practicing the
skills of the game at home and that is very important.
So next Wed. I hope to see all the boys and girls at Fossa again for
the final round at 6.30 29th May.I hope all our young Listry
footballers are having a good time and new kids are always welcome.
Thank you to our great U-8 coaches-Fergus Clifford,Ger Foley,Mike
Breen,Pat Fleming,Paul Gosney,Caitriona O’Donoghue,Richard Walsh and
Breda Nugent for your time and kindness to the kids.All the kids got
plenty game time and learned a lot about the game.
Training next Friday is at the earlier time of 6-7.pm.Thank you to
the
wonderful parents for supporting your kids.There will be another game
for the U-8s on Sunday 9th June,more details at training on Friday
