SCOR NA NOG: It is time again for Scor, unfortunately Listry has not been represented at Scor na Nog for a good few years. It would be great if we had a few entries this year. Anyone in secondary school under the age of 17 who is interested in competing in Solo Singing, Quiz, Music Set Dancing or Ballad Group please contact Margaret on 0876432812. All participants must be members of Listry GAA club. Any parents willing to help out would be greatly appreciated. LISTRY COMMUNITY COUNCIL: Computer Classes will be organised in Listry Community Centre during the month of October if sufficient names are received for these classes. Please contact any member of Listry Community Council immediately with your name and Telephone number if interested or ‘phone 086 7944494. LISTRY SOCIAL COMMITTEE: Wish to thank all those who travelled on our day trip to Dooks Golf Club on Tuesday last. Thanks to all the Committee who organised the trip and B. O’Shea who booked our excellent meal. Thanks to Kerry Community Transport and Houlihans Bus Service Killorglin who provided the transport on the day. Thanks to Julie Sheahan, Joan, and all her staff for their wonderful hospitalityand kindness. Everybody are still speaking about the wonderful ambience and hospitality of this establishment. Well worth a visit anytime. YOUTH CLUB: Listry Youth Club is starting up again. Registration night Friday night 8-9pm. New members welcome.
