On Wednesday 6th May Listry/Keel played Fossa in the semi-final of the Co.league in Listry. Keel/Listry were quick off the mark and opened the scoring with a goal. The first half was a lively affair and both teams kicked some great scores. In an entertaining first half where Keel/Listry played some great football the half time score was Keel/Listry 5-7 Fossa 3-5.
The game was won in the first quarter of the second half. Keel/Listry dominated and punished Fossa with some well taken scores.Keel/Listry scored 3-8 to Fossa 1-1 in that period. However Fossa bombarded the Keel/Listry goal in the final 10 minutes and scored 4 great goals and this was a just reward for a team that played good football all evening. So,the final score was Keel/Listry 8-15 Fossa 8-7. Keel/Listry U-14 boys are linking up well and can be pleased with their performance.Keel/Listry U-14 boys can look forward to a Co. final against Kilcummin next week.
Hard luck to Fossa who played the  game in a sporting manner and well done to referee Brendan Twiss who also had a fine game.
Well done boys and thank you to all the parents for supporting the team. It was a great performance by all the panel and we look forward to having injured players Ronan, Micheál,Dylan and Seán back for next week.
