On Sunday the 29th April ’12 Listry U-12’s played Lispole in rd.3 of the Lee Strand Co.League. After travelling to Knocknagoshel with 11 players it was great to have our full panel of 16 players to choose from. The five additional players,Dylan Brennan,Jordan O’Meara,Paudie Horgan,Conor Broderick and Gearoid Murphy all played  great football.

The game was played in Lispole on a very windy and cold evening.Listry played with the wind in the first half and led at half time 3-3 to 1-0.

However it was against the wind in the second half that Listry used the ball very well. Our team passed the ball using the hand at times and also their kick passing was excellant, great teamwork .The team took their scores when they had a chance and again defended well when they had to.Listry scored 1-3 to Lispoles 2 points in the second half. The final score was Listry 4-6 Lispole 1-2 ,a great win ,well done to all the u-12 panel of players. It’s very important to practice at home every evening, the more you practice the better you get.

Thanks again to Sean Walsh and Bernard Murphy for training the team.

Thank you to all the parents for travelling, supporting and having your children looking so good.Special thanks to the best water boy in the county Jack Walsh.
