U-12 Listry v Brosna
On Sunday 5th May Listry u-12s played their final game in phase one
of the Co.league against Brosna. The game was played in Allman park in
front of a large home crowd.Unfortunately Brosna were too strong for
our great team on  this occasion and our U-12s lost for the first time
this year.
Although our players were disappointed to lose they can be very proud
of their great performance and they battled on to the very end.The team
can look forward to the next phase and I know we are  improving all the
time. Thank you to team coaches Jeremy Wrenn,Mike Dwyer,Keith O’Donnell
and Tadhg Ahearn. It was nice to see all our players get a game and that
is very important for the development of our young stars.
Thank you to the senior players for supporting our U-12 team,it was
nice to see you there and you all looked so well in your new club gear.
Congratulations to the senior team on a great win v Knocknagoshel in
the Novice championship.Thank you to Listry senior board for keeping
our pitch and facilities in great condition it is a credit to all .
Thank you to Juvenile assistant Chairwoman Brenda Courtney for
preparing ‘goody bags’ and tea/coffee and cake for all players and
supporters after the game. You lifted our spirits Brenda and it   was
much appreciated by all.

entertainment so far and we look forward to seeing you in action again
soon.Speedy recovery to Seamus Giles,Dylan Brennan and Ronan Buchanan.
