Thank you to our wonderful senior football team and congratulations on your great victory last Sunday. Thank you to all our wonderful supporters for the fantastic colour and excitement you brought to Milltown. It was very pleasing to see so many of our juvenile players wearing the green and white and a special thanks to all the parents for bringing the kids to the game.

Just 2 years ago Listry/Keel won a Co.league title at U-16.Last Sunday 6 of that team were on the senior panel and 3 of them were on the starting team.Darragh Lehane, Joe Clifford, Ronan Buckley, Dara O Shea, Brian Kennedy and Conor O Sullivan.  It can be difficult for minors to break into a senior team,but,this bunch were lucky as the coaches they had 2 years ago,Derry Ahern and Danny Wrenn, were now their team mates. Thank you Derry and Danny for giving your time to coaching and now Listry are reaping the rewards.So last Sunday was such a wonderful occasion,a reward for underage coaching and a day that will live in the memory forever.
Well done to senior captain Jimmy O’Leary for a tremendous acceptance speech. Well done to club Chairman Denis Courtney and secretary Anthony Clifford and everyone that helped in the great homecoming for the team.Thank you to juvenile secretary Fergus Clifford and all the senior panel for bringing the cup to Faha school.  The Novice has been one long chapter in the history of Listry GAA club, the senior team can drive on now and write the next one.
