NATIONAL PRIDE OF PLACE COMPETITION: The judging process for this competition is now complete since Friday 26th August. It was a very momentous occasion for everybody involved. The Judges enjoyed their tour of the area and we now eagerly await the results of the competition in early November. A sincere “thank you” to everybody who assisted with the preparatory work over the last eight weeks. It was a massive Community effort and we sincerely thank each one of you. A sincere thanks also to Siobhan, Ann Marie, Mairead and staff of the Community Enterprise Dept. of Kerry County Council also our area Engineer Ms. Mulryan and  her staff and the staff of S.K.D.P and their Rural Social Scheme workers.
