Listry Club would like to send deepest condolences to The Tangney Family, Roscarton and New York on the recent death of Paddy Tangney R.I.P.
Paddy was a talented football player who played for Listry and also Dick Fitzgerald Team, Killarney in the late 1940 – early 50’s before emigrating to the UK,
and then to the States.
In 1951 he won himself a Co. Championship medal played for the Dick Fitzgerald Team against Dingle.
They beat Dingle by a wide margin 1.7 to 0.3.
He also won a East Kerry League medal for Listry in the early 50’s in the O Donoghue Cup.
