Athletics Day – Saturday April 25th.
Our Athletics Day is taking place this Saturday April 25th in Listry GAA Grounds with registration at 1.30 pm. Participation on the day is strictly for children residing in Milltown/Listry parish
Order of Events:
U8 BOYS & GIRLS: 60m, 80m
U10 BOYS & GIRLS: 100m, 200m, Hurdles…
U12 BOYS & GIRLS: 100m, 600mBall Throw, Long Puck (Boys)
U14 BOYS & GIRLS: 100m, 800m, Hurdles, Long Jump,
Shot Putt, Long Puck (Girls)
U16 BOYS & GIRLS: 100m, 1500m
U10,U12, U14, U16: Relays 4x100m.
Minimum Age on 31st July 2015 to compete in Athletics is:
U8 over 6yrs; U10 over 8yrs; U12 over 10yrs; U14 over 12yrs; U16 over 14yrs
Medals for the top 4 winners of each event.
We will also have a lot of novelty events such as fun runs for tiny tots and mom’s and dad’s, 3 legged races, wheelbarrow races, etc. . This is a great opportunity for local children to have an enjoyable and fun day and we encourage families to come along and support us.
