On Sunday Aug.19th Listry played in the annual Milltown GAA club blitz.Listry played Austin Stacks in the first game and after a poor first half our great team took over in the second  and kept the mighty Austin Stacks scoreless .We lost the first game but with our pride restored we faced Cromane in the second game.

Listry won the second game playing some great football,great defending, great teamwork and took some great scores.Next up was Laune Rangers and now we were really rolling.Listry blitzed Laune Rangers in the first half scoring goals and points from all angles.Laune Rangers tried hard to come back in the second half but our heroes were brave and determined to defend our goal at all costs.Listry went on for a famous win against our neighbours Laune Rangers. That win put us top of the group and now we faced a second Austin Stacks team in the semi-final.At this stage our great team,after a great days football, were a little tired but like all Listry teams continued to play with great heart to the very end.We were narrowly beaten in the semi-final but,overall a great day for our U-10 football team. Listry U-10 team; Joseph Courtney, Micheal Keane,Aaron O’Donoghue,Jack Walsh,Aileen O’Leary,Aaron O’Shea, Joseph Clifford,Jack O’Leary,James O’Dowd,Ethan O’Sullivan,Dylan Brennan,Colin O’Sullivan and home from Boston Seamus Buckley.
