Listry seniors had an important co league win away from home when they defeated St Senans on Sat evening last on the score of 2-4 to 0-8. Listry lead at half time by 2-3 to 0-2 after playing into a strong wind but as in the previous round they failed to make use of the elements and managed only a single point from a free in the second half. However some great defending Listry managed to hold out for the victory which keeps them very much in the promotion race. Next co league game will be against fellow promotion hopefuls Na Gael on Sat Sept 15th at home.
