U-6 -Training for U-6 boys and girls continues on Fri.10th May 6.30-
7.30
U-8 -Training for U-8 boys and girls continues on Fri.10th May 6.30-
7.30.U-8 blitz starts in Fossa on Wed.15th at 6.30 and continues for
the next two Wednesdays.Listry will field two teams and play against
Kilcummin and Fossa.Best of luck to our great players and I hope all
parents will support our teams.
U-10 -Listry U-10 boys and girls are training Friday 10th May 6.30-
7.30,
we will have a mini-blitz in the next few weeks and Listry will host the East-Kerry blitz in July.
U-12 -The second phase of the Co.League will resume shortly,Jeremy
will be in touch regarding training.
U-14 -Congratulations to U-14 player Gearoid Murphy who won the East
Kerry skills competition and will compete in the Co.Final on Fri.May
10th.Gearoid has also progressed through two trials for the ‘Primary
Game’.Well done Gearoid-keep the Listry flag flying! U-14 East-Kerry
league will start soon,so all players must keep up the training and be
prepared for action.
U-16- Our U-16 team continue to train and prepare for the Co.League
under the guidance of Derry Ahearn,Ian Foley,Mike Cooper and Brian
McCarthy.Best of luck in the exams and speedy recovery to Cathal
Costello and Ronan Buckley.
Munster Champions -Congratulations to Listry minor footballers Joseph
Clifford,Conor Keane and Darragh O’Shea who won the Munster Final with
Milltown Secondary School recently.They played Thurles in a great final
and our boys can be very proud of this fantastic achievement.It is very
important all Listry players try to make School teams,divisional sides
and development squads.That is how we make our club great and winning
Munster medals is a great honour for your school,your family,yourself
and your club.
Community Games -The community games,track and field events will be
held in Listry football pitch on Friday 17th May 6pm. There is no
football training on that Friday and instead we will have U6/8/10
training on Sunday 19th 12-1 pm .I hope all the kids take part in the
community games and have a good time.
