Our U16s combined with Keel were defeated by Gneevguilla in the final of the county league last Wednesday night. In a keenly contested final played in the Legion pitch we went down on a scoreline of 3.12 to 3.08. This has been a very good campaign for the boys who played some excellent football throughout. While we congratulate Gneevguilla on their victory we must also give huge credit to our own boys and managers Colman O Shea and Mike Broderick along with their Keel counterparts for their efforts to date.

Next up is the Mid Kerry Championship which will be played in the coming weeks.

Our U12s are heading for Fitzgerald Stadium on Tuesday next for the annual mini blitz organised by the Kerry and Munster games development boards. We will play teams from Bantry and Beale and afterwards our boys and girls will be treated to a tour of the dressingrooms and other facilities. We hope they enjoy their day out.

Friday night sessions for U6 U8 and U10s will resume on Fri August 28th.
