A nail biting game which saw Listry losing going into the second half by Castlegregory winning by 15 points. Castlegregory dominated the first half by winning the ball throughout the 1st half, not giving Listry much opportunity to score. Ronan Buckey, talent and judgement, put 3 points on the scoreboard, along with Joe Clifford who was the first player to put a score on the board for Listry after  31 seconds. Anthony Kennedy also got the opportunity to put a point from play in the 23rd minute. However, Listry has attempted two goal chances into the 12/13th minute but hit the crossbar.

Heading into the second half, Listry determination and team work showed the supporters as they were sitting on the edge of their seats by winning the match by 1 point. Castlegregory missed many opportunities to score by only managed to put 3 points on the scoreboard in the second half by Alan Fitzgerald. Listry’s Joe Clifford have a golden chance into the 2nd minute of the second half by buried the ball into Castlegregory net. Slowly narrowing the gap between the two teams, Listry came a comeback when Ronan Buckely got 3 points in a row, the turning point for Listry was in the 20th minute, Joe Clifford well deserved Man of the Match scored his second goal into the 16th minute.  Derry Ahern, Paul O Donoghue and Gary O Sullivan all put added to the scoreline.  Final Score in Austin Park Listry 2.12 Castlegregory 2.11.
