2014 was a good year for Listry juvenile GAA club. Our Friday evening training sessions for U6/8/10 boys and girls were well attended and very enjoyable. Thank you to all our coaches, parents and wonderful kids for creating a great atmosphere every Friday evening. Our U-8/10 boys and girls played a lot of games and represented Listry with pride and passion.Listry U-12s won the Co.league, Listry/Keel U-13s won the East Kerry league, Listry/Keel U -14s won the mid-Kerry Championship and Listry/Keel U-16s were beaten finalists in the Mid-Kerry Championship. Thank you to all coaches, parents and our great underage footballers for a tremendous effort all year. Thank you to coaching officer Colman O’Shea, treasurer Keith O’Donnell, pro Jules Weakley, ASAP officer Ann O Brien, Child protection officer John Lehane and secretary Fergus Clifford for your love of and dedication to the club. Thank you to Listry senior board, Denis Courtney, Anthony Clifford and Johnjoe Courtney for all your advice and support of the juvenile club. Thank you to Listry club President Johnjoe Tangney for his attendance and support of all club events.
