Friday 29th November 2013 Listry U6/8/10 boys and girls participated in the switching on of the Christmas lights parade in Killarney. This was our first time taking part and we had a great evening. The weather was mild and we had 45 well behaved kids all wearing elf hats .Listry were first in the parade, just behind the pipe band and this added greatly to the excitement.Santa was very impressed with the good kids from Listry

and he told me  that Listry would be his first stop when he flies over Kerry on Christmas Eve, so, remember kids, into bed early. Listry weren’t the only footballers in the parade, Kerry footballers Colm Cooper, James O’Donoghue, Eoin Brosnan, Johnny Buckley and Brian Kelly all sang Christmas songs and made it a very enjoyable evening for everyone. Thank you to all the Listry parents and coaches for attending the parade and thank you to Caitriona O’Donoghue for helping to organise it.Thank you to Christmas in Killarney for a great event and I hope all the kids and parents had a fantastic time and I wish you all a happy Christmas.Up Listry.  Murt.
