Listry GAA club had another very busy day on Sunday 5th October 2014. Our U-8 boys and girls welcomed our neighbours Milltown to Listry. With enough players for two games all the kids got to play and played their hearts out. Listry U-8s are getting better with every game and great credit is due to the players, coaches and parents.Thank you to Milltown for 2 very enjoyable games.
Listry U-12s travelled to Cordal to take on the natives. After a good victory over Spa on Tuesday last our U-12 boys and girls continued with another great victory over Cordal today.Well done to all involved with the U-12 panel, it has been a very enjoyable season.
Next up was the Listry senior team and fair play to the boys they completed a great day for Listry with a great victory over Cordal in the first round of the O’Donoghue cup in Allman park.
A very busy Sunday for the great parents of Listry. We had families divided between Listry and Cordal with brothers and sisters playing with the U-8s in Listry and the U-12s in Cordal. We even had U-8 coach Fergus Clifford and U-12 coach Paul O Donoghue playing for Listry seniors.
Congratulations to everyone that helped to make it a super Sunday, thank you all very much. Up Listry! Murt.
