Listry V Dr Crokes.

Dr Crokes easily defeated a lack luster Listry team in this O Sullivan Cup quarter final played in Listry on Tuesday evening last. Dr Crokes got of to a much better start leading 0-4 to no score after 10 minutes with scores from Mark O Shea, Cian O Neill, Jack Griffin and Bryan O Shea. Listry did not score until the 15 minute when Anthony Sweeney opened their account and quickly added another. Bryan O Shea and Paul O Donoghue exchanged points before Mark O Neill rattled the listry net. However Listry quickly replied with a Paul O Donoghue goal. Crokes with further points from Cillian Fitzgerald and Brendan Falvey to Listry points from Joseph Clifford and Billy O Brien left the half time score Listry 1-5 Crokes 1-7. Listry although not playing well must have been happy going in at half time having played against a strong wind. Dr Crokes however completely dominated the second half and ran out easy winners with points from Bryan O Shea (3) Brendan Falvey (3) Jack Griffin and Darren Doherty to Listry points from Sean O Sullivan and  Anthony Sweeney. Listry were lucky to be close at half time and never turned for the second half to leave Crokes easy winners on the score Dr Crokes 1-15 Listry 1-07.
