County League.
Listry V St Senans.
Listry Mar 10th.
St Senans arrived in Listry as North Kerry champions and in most observers minds were to win this county league div 3 game. However the home team had other ideas and duly won this game played in difficult conditions. Listry, who started without some regulars, and the aid of a gale force wind were first to attack but were unable to score and after Senans opened their score with their first attack a point from Sean O Connor from a free and the same player followed with a similar score to see Senans lead by 2 points before the home side registered their first  score a point from Billy O Brien. Sean Lehane from long distance brought Listry level before Joseph Clifford  put the home side in front. Sean O Connor brought the visitors level before Billy O Brien and Paul O Donoghue put Listry into a 2 point lead at half time Listry 0-5 St Senans 0-3.
Was this a good enough lead with Senans having the aid of the gale for the second half.  As things turned out it was as Senans only scored a point in the second half from Sean O Connor as Listry added 4 points from Ronan Buckley (2) Joeseph Clifford and Sean Lehane to leave the final score Listry 0-9 St Senans 0-4.
